Procedures

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk egg and milk together.
  2. Add oats, baking powder, and oil. Mix until smooth and slightly thick.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan over medium-low heat and lightly grease.
  4. Pour about ¼ cup batter into the center of the pan.
  5. Spread gently into a thick round shape (thicker than pancakes).
  6. Cover the pan with a lid and cook for 3–4 minutes.
  7. Check bottom — once golden brown, flip carefully.
  8. Cook uncovered for another 2–3 minutes until cooked through and edges slightly crisp.
  9. Remove and repeat with remaining batter.
