Procedures

  1. Dice carrots, potatoes, and onions evenly for uniform cooking.
  2. Bring vegetable broth to a boil in a pot over medium heat.
  3. Add carrots and potatoes first; cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Add onions and continue cooking for another 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in rolled oats and reduce heat to medium-low.
  6. Simmer for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Add milk and mix thoroughly.
  8. Cook for 1–2 more minutes until slightly creamy. Serve warm.
