Ingredients

  • Nordic Whole Grain Rolled Oats – 80g
  • Chicken broth – 720mL
  • Water – 240mL
  • Ginger – 5g
  • Garlic – 5g
  • Shredded chicken – 100g
  • Soy sauce – 15mL

Procedures

  1. Finely mince the garlic and ginger.
  2. Heat a medium pot over medium heat and add a small amount of oil (optional).
  3. Sauté garlic and ginger for 30–60 seconds until fragrant but not browned.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and water. Bring to a rolling boil.
  5. Add rolled oats while stirring continuously to prevent clumping.
  6. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally until thick and creamy.
  7. Add shredded chicken and soy sauce. Stir well.
  8. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot.
