Ingredients
- Nordic Whole Grain Rolled Oats – 80g
- Chicken broth – 720mL
- Water – 240mL
- Ginger – 5g
- Garlic – 5g
- Shredded chicken – 100g
- Soy sauce – 15mL
Procedures
- Finely mince the garlic and ginger.
- Heat a medium pot over medium heat and add a small amount of oil (optional).
- Sauté garlic and ginger for 30–60 seconds until fragrant but not browned.
- Pour in the chicken broth and water. Bring to a rolling boil.
- Add rolled oats while stirring continuously to prevent clumping.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally until thick and creamy.
- Add shredded chicken and soy sauce. Stir well.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot.
