- Nordic Whole Grain Rolled Oats – 80g
- Vegetable broth – 480mL
- Mushrooms – 200g
- Garlic – 10g
- Butter – 15g
Procedures
- Prepare the pan by heating oil or butter over medium heat until shimmering.
- Add sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook undisturbed for 2–3 minutes to develop a golden-brown sear.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for another 30–60 seconds until fragrant. Then pour in the broth. Stir constantly to prevent burning.
- Stir in the oats along with a pinch of salt and pepper to ensure even seasoning.
- Bring to a gentle boil, then immediately reduce the heat to low to maintain a steady simmer.
- Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally to achieve a creamy consistency and prevent sticking.
- Monitor the liquid level—remove from heat once the oats are tender and most of the broth is absorbed.
- Let sit for 1 minute to allow the texture to set before serving.
