Procedure

1Prepare 250g of large whole shrimp by trimming the whiskers and washing them thoroughly under cold water.

2Slice one medium onion and two ripe tomatoes into quarters to create the aromatic base for the broth.

3Pour 800mL of water into a deep pot and bring it to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.

4Add the onions and tomatoes to the boiling water and cook for about 5 minutes until they are soft and the flavors have infused.

5Slice 100g of radish into thin rounds and cut 50g of string beans into 2-inch pieces.

6Add the radish and string beans to the pot and let them simmer for 3 minutes until they begin to tenderize.

7Sprinkle 20g of Menu Magic Sinigang sa Gabi Mix into the boiling broth and stir continuously until the powder is fully dissolved and the soup starts to thicken.

8Add 5 pieces of okra and 2 green finger chilies to the pot for added texture and a mild spice.

9Carefully drop the prepared shrimp into the sour broth and cook for only 2 to 3 minutes until they turn bright orange and opaque.

10Submerge a bunch of fresh kangkong leaves into the liquid and immediately turn off the heat to keep the greens vibrant.

11Season the soup with a splash of fish sauce to balance the tartness of the MENU SINIGANG MIX SA GABI before serving.

12Serve the hot shrimp and vegetables in deep bowls with a side of steamed white rice.
