Procedure
-
1Prepare the Cups: Place 2 halved lychees and a few slices of strawberry into the bottom of 6–8 clear glass cups or ramekins. Sprinkle a few dried rose petals over the fruit.
-
2Jelly Base: In a pot, combine 500mL of water (or 400mL water + 100mL sparkling juice/rosé), 40g of sugar, and 25g of Menu Magic Jelly Lychee
-
3Stir thoroughly while cold to ensure the powder is fully dissolved.
-
4Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring constantly for 2–3 minutes.
-
5If using rose water instead of petals, stir it in now after removing the pot from the heat.
-
6Layering: Let the liquid cool for about 5 minutes so it is warm but not boiling.
-
7Carefully pour the Menu Magic Jelly Lychee mixture into the cups, filling them about 3/4 of the way. The fruit might float; you can gently push them down with a toothpick to arrange them.
-
8Chill: Refrigerate the cups for at least 3 hours until the jelly is completely firm and crystal clear.
-
9Garnish: Just before serving, top with a fresh mint leaf or a single whole lychee for a professional finish.
